01 · Delete in Hectr
Settings → Account → Delete account
Confirm the request in the app. This permanently closes the account and starts deletion of associated personal data.
02 · Request deletion without the app
Email privacy@hectr.app from the address linked to your account with the subject Hectr account deletion request. Include only the account email or sign-in method needed to locate it. We may ask for proportionate verification to protect the account.
We aim to verify and complete the request within 30 days, or tell you if local law permits more time.
03 · What is deleted
Deletion covers the account profile, authentication links, saved workout history, connected health and wearable data held by Hectr, saved camera media, derived movement data, preferences and other personal data associated with the account. Data held independently by Apple, Google, your device or another connected service must be managed with that provider.
04 · What may remain temporarily
Limited records may remain where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal claims, tax or accounting obligations. Encrypted backups are overwritten through a rolling cycle of up to 90 days and are not restored for ordinary product use. De-identified statistics that cannot reasonably identify you may remain.
