01 · Agreement and service
These Terms form an agreement between you and the developer identified on Hectr’s current Apple App Store or Google Play listing and your purchase receipt. Hectr automatically records and organises workout information using permitted phone, camera, motion, health and wearable signals. Features may vary by device, region and subscription.
02 · Eligibility
You must be at least 16 and legally able to agree to these Terms. You are responsible for providing accurate information and complying with the rules of your gym, workplace or other location.
03 · Fitness and safety notice
Hectr is a fitness tool, not a medical device or healthcare service. Counts, classifications, heart-rate displays and recommendations are estimates and may be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on Hectr for diagnosis, treatment, emergency monitoring or decisions where an error could cause harm.
Exercise involves risk. Use suitable equipment, maintain awareness of your surroundings, follow professional advice, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or illness. Seek medical advice before starting or changing an exercise programme when appropriate.
04 · Your account and data
Keep account credentials secure and notify support@hectr.app of suspected unauthorised use. Your use of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy and Camera & Data Policy. You retain ownership of media and workout information you provide and grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service.
05 · Subscriptions and purchases
Prices, trial terms and renewal periods are shown before purchase. App-store purchases are billed and managed by Apple or Google under their terms. Subscriptions may renew automatically until cancelled in the relevant store settings. Deleting Hectr or deleting your account does not automatically cancel a store subscription. Refunds are handled under the applicable store rules and mandatory consumer law.
06 · Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, bypass security, scrape or reverse engineer it except where law permits, upload unlawful or harmful material, interfere with others, infringe rights, or use camera features where recording is prohibited. You are responsible for obtaining any permission needed before other people appear in captured media.
07 · Hectr property and third parties
The Hectr software, brand, interface and related materials are protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service. Third-party platforms such as Apple Health, Health Connect and app stores have their own terms and availability.
08 · Availability, warranties and liability
The service is provided with reasonable care but may be changed, interrupted or contain errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties not required by law and are not liable for indirect, special or consequential loss. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.
09 · Suspension, deletion and changes
You may stop using Hectr and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or serious breach. Provisions that by nature should survive will remain effective. We may update these Terms and will provide notice where required. Questions: support@hectr.app.
